Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Home Made Food (HMF), we strive to provide the highest quality meals and a seamless ordering experience. We understand that plans can change, and we have established this Refund and Cancellation Policy to ensure transparency and fairness for both our customers and our home chefs.

1. Cancellation Policy

We process orders quickly to ensure freshness. Our cancellation rules are as follows:

  • Before Processing: You can cancel your order within 5 minutes of placing it without any charges, provided the chef hasn't started preparing the meal.
  • After Processing: Once the chef has accepted and started preparing your order, cancellations are not permitted.
  • Subscription Orders: For subscription plans, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time of the next meal.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are initiated under the following circumstances:

  • Order Not Delivered: If your order was not delivered due to reasons within our control.
  • Quality Issues: If there is a significant quality issue with the food (subject to verification).
  • Wrong Item: If you received an item different from what you ordered.
  • Payment Failures: For double charges or technical payment glitches.

Note: Refund requests must be raised within 2 hours of delivery or the scheduled delivery time.

3. Refund Process & Timeline

Once a refund is approved by our support team, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method:

  • UPI/Wallets: 24 to 48 hours.
  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5 to 7 business days depending on your bank.
  • HMF Wallet: Instant credit (if applicable).
